The Count of Monte Cristo ("Le Comte de Monte Cristo") is a four-part French television miniseries starring Gérard Depardieu. It is one of the most faithful adaptations of the 1844 novel by Alexander Dumas, using its six hour run-time to incorporate most of the novels characters and subplots that most adaptations are forced to cut.
