Webley MK VI revolver

Other government forces are seen using the Webley Mk VI revolver.

Webley Mk. VI - .455 Webley. Many were imported into the U.S. converted to .45 acp using full or half moon clips.

A few of the officers are seen using the Colt New Service during the Ape uprising.

Model 1909 Colt Army Revolver - .45 LC. This model is stamped "Property of U.S. Government" under barrel and "M1909" on front bottom of grip strap. Grips not original - US issue bore plain uncheckered walnut.

Rifles

M16 (SP1)

The M16 (SP1) rifle is the main weapon used by government forces sent to quell the Ape uprising. The ape Ceasar (Roddy McDowall) is seen with the rifle as well.

Winchester Model 1912

A Winchester Model 1912 is also used by government forces.

Winchester Model 1897

A few riot police are seen using the Winchester Model 1897 shotgun.

Winchester Model 1897 - 12 gauge. This is an imported copy of the non-take down version of the Winchester 1897 Shotgun (a Norinco 97W shotgun, imported by IAC).

Another shotgun used by government forces is the Remington 870.

Another shotgun used by government forces is the Ithaca 37.
