Cold Winter is a first-person shooter game developed by Swordfish Studios Ltd. and published by Vivendi Universal Games. It was released exclusively for the PlayStation 2 on May 10th, 2005.
The main character of the game stars a former British SAS solider named Andrew Sterling, an MI6 operative, who is captured by Chinese forces in the People's Republic of China after a failed mission attempt and is now being held inside the political prison of Chang as a POW.
The games' story was written by Warren Ellis.
