Cold Winter is a first-person shooter game developed by Swordfish Studios Ltd. and published by Vivendi Universal Games. It was released exclusively for the PlayStation 2 on May 10th, 2005.
The main character of the game is former British SAS solider named Andrew Sterling, an MI6 operative, who is captured by Chinese forces in the People's Republic of China after a failed mission attempt and is now being held inside the political prison of Chang as a POW.
The games' story was written by Warren Ellis.
