Machine Pistols

Ingram MAC-10

Soldiers carry Ingram MAC-10 machine pistols. One is seen firing blanks.

A soldier with one of the MAC-10s fires blank rounds. Two rounds fire in rapid succession, indicating it is full auto. This is the first blank round fired.

Second blank round is fired.

A small puff of smoke is emitted, indicating the third blank round is a dud. The MAC-10 fires from an open bolt, and when the bolt closes, it pushes out lingering smoke from the previous round.

A soldier carries an M-16 carbine with a conical flash suppressor. It did not fire blanks, hence it might be a nonfiring replica.
