Civil War is a 2024 American action war film directed by Alex Garland. Set in the near future, the film takes place during a rapidly escalating Second American Civil War, where the tyrannical President (Nick Offerman) fortifies himself and his loyalists in Washington, D.C. as the secessionist Western Forces close in.
