Chernobyl is a 2019 HBO miniseries documenting the 1986 nuclear disaster and the ensuing aftermath.
The following weapons were used in the miniseries Chernobyl:
Makarov PM
In one scene, a soldier grows frustrated trying to get an elderly woman to evacuate and draws a Makarov PM pistol and shoots her cow in order to force her to leave.
Mosin-Nagant M91/30
Soviet soldiers assigned to eliminate contaminated animals in the abandoned town of Pripyat can be seen using Mosin-Nagant M91/30 rifles.
AKM Rifle
Some soldiers, such as those those at the funeral held for firefighters who responded to the explosion at the plant, can be seen armed with AKM rifles.
AK-74 Rifle
In one scene, a Soviet official arrives at a mine to recruit miners to dig a tunnel under the damaged reactor, the official accompanied by soldiers armed with AK-74 rifles.
KPVT Heavy Machine Gun
During the evacuation of Pripyat, BRDM-2 scout vehicles can be seen, complete with turret-mounted KPVT heavy machine guns.
