Beretta M1934

Julien Levade (Billy Crudup), the leader of the local French resistance network, carries a Beretta M1934.

Browning Hi-Power

Jean-Paul (David Birkin), one of Julien's Maquis resistance fighters, carries a Browning Hi-Power.

The first version of the classic pistol, developed by John Browning and adopted by Belgium in 1935, the FN P-35 - 9mm. During World War II, the Germans would occupy the Belgian firearms factories and continued to produce this gun, still called the P-35, but with Waffenamt stamps. The Design would be adopted by other countries and manufactured abroad with the generic designation simply as the "Browning High Power".

Karabiner 98k

Some Germans also carry Karabiner 98k rifles. One uses his to hit Madame Cariteau in the face when she attempts to stop them from taking away two Jewish youths she was hiding. Several of the Maquis, including Claire Monceau (Victoria Scarborough) and Auguste (Charlie Condeau) carry Karabiner 98ks.
