Canal (Kanal) (Polish Title: Kanał) is a 1957 World War II drama directed by Andrzej Wajda. The film tells the tragic fate of the Armia Krajowa soldiers (armed forces of the Polish underground) trying to leave Warsaw through the sewer canals during the Warsaw Uprising of 1944.
