CHiPs (TV Series)
The following guns were used in the television series CHiPs:
Colt Python 380
The standard handgun used by the California Highway Patrol officers in the series is the Colt Python. The officers who carry the revolver include Officer John Baker (Larry Wilcox) and Officer Frank "Ponch" Poncharello (Erik Estrada). Throughout the series, these officers were never seen actually pulling their revolvers. Only one officer was actually seen pulling his Colt was Officer Barry Baricza (Brodie Greer), who was seen pulling on a charging martial artist as well as when a couple of men were seen shooting up his patrol car with Thompsons.

M1928 Thompson
The M1928 Thompson is seen used by a few guys who shoot up Officer Baricza's patrol car.
