Bullets or Ballots was filmed in 1936 with Edward G. Robinson playing a undercover cop named Johnny Blake. Only Johnny Blake and the Police Commissioner knows that he is undercover as he infiltrates Al Kruger's mob. Johnny works his way into the number two spot making enemies with 'Bug" Fenner played by Humphrey Bogart. Unknown to 'Bugs" Fenner he helps Johnny get the top spot when Fenner kills Al Kruger played by Barton MacLane. Now it's time to find the head Bosses of the Mob and rap up the case.
