Bullet Ballet is a 1998 Japanese film directed by Shinya Tsukamoto. The film is stylized with an amateur style (trembling camera, low definition, black and white filming).

Kiriko (Kyôka Suzuki) and later, Goda (Shin'ya Tsukamoto) is seen armed with the Smith & Wesson Model 36. The revolver is also briefly used by Goto (Takahiro Murase) and Idei (Tatsuya Nakamura).

Trivia
Numerous weapons can be seen during the archive footage.
The ship's cannons are fired.
The naval ship's cannons. The ship is either a cruiser or a destroyer.
This footage shows the twin turrets, which likely identifies it as a Colorado-class, armed with 8 16-inch guns.
A warship in the background on the left appears similar to Japanese battleships with very high superstructures(in the US Navy, this detail of Japanese battleships was nicknamed the "pagoda"). This is possibly a photo of the Battle of Surigao Strait of 25 October 1944 when Japanese battleship Yamashiro was sunk by six 14- and 16-inch US battleships, as described above.
