Brother's War is a 2009 war film directed by Jerry Buteyn. On the Eastern Front during the final days of World War II, a British Army officer attached to the Red Army witnesses the execution of the Polish government by Soviet troops and is subsequently imprisoned, were he finds a fellow prisoner and unlikely ally, a German captain. A common bond through Freemasonry binds the two officers by honor, oath, and secrets. The men escape from captivity, pursued by a ruthless Soviet intelligence officer, and attempt to reach Allied command with a secret that could change the course of history and the fate of millions.

MP 41(r) (Mock-up)

Anton (Olivier Gruner) uses what at first glance appears to be an MP 41(r), a PPSh-41 converted to 9x19mm by Germany during WWII. However, the weapon appears to be some kind of mock-up, as the magazine used is not a 32-round MP 40 magazine actually used with the MP 41(r), the magazine seats into the weapon straight as opposed to at a slight angle, and there does not appear to be any adapter in the magazine well to load a 9x19mm magazine, with the magazine itself simply shoved into the breech.
