Since this movie (directed by Ridley Scott) and starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe will not be released until October 10th, 2008, all weapons information will be gleaned from pre release studio sources and the trailer. As we all know, things can change in the formal release of a movie, scenes can be deleted and changed at the last minute.
The following guns will be used in this movie:
MP5A3
- Seen early on as a SWAT team moves into a building, and then the building explodes (Trailer only)
Heckler & Koch G36
- Hard to tell which variant, but DiCaprio fires at a pursuing pickup truck in the desert (Trailer Only)
RPG-7
- Again, hard to tell what variant, but a middle eastern terrorist is carrying one, trying to kill DiCaprio's character. (Trailer only)
Glock 17
- Hard to tell whose hands is loading it, but it is loaded and cocked in closeup (Trailer only)
- DiCaprio definitely is using it to shoot at a car in the street at one point in the film (Trailer only)
HK USP Compact
