(Little bit of grammar and rewording, also the "Remington Nylon" is actually a Daisy air rifle. I have the same one in my bedroom closest.)

One of the weapons that Ben ([[Devin Ratray]]) offers to Dwight ([[Macon Blair]]) is a [[Ruger Mk III]], which he describes as firing "its own nine millimetre cartridge" and instructs Dwight that it must be loaded with stripper clips. Both of these statements are incorrect, although it is possible that the scene was written with another firearm in mind.  Later in the film, Ben makes mention of giving Dwight a "Steyr" as a secondary weapon, meaning perhaps that the filmmakers had confused the Ruger with a Steyr M1912 that does indeed load from stripper clips.

Blue Ruin is an independent thriller film written and directed by Jeremy Saulnier, and funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign. It follows a drifter (Macon Blair) who returns to his hometown seeking revenge after his parents' supposed killer is released from prison.

The following weapons were used in the film Blue Ruin:

SPOILERS.jpg WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!

Revolvers

EKOL Viper

Early in the film, Dwight (Macon Blair) steals a gun case from a parked truck, only to discover the revolver inside is protected by a trigger lock. He attempts to remove the trigger lock by hitting it repeatedly with a crowbar, which, predictably, is ineffective and destroys the gun. For this scene the filmmakers used an EKOL Viper, a blank-fire only weapon, rather than destroy an actual working firearm.

Ruger GP100

While searching the Clelands' home, Dwight (Macon Blair) finds two Ruger GP100s.

The Ruger logo is clearly seen on the frame in this shot.

Smith & Wesson Model 3 (replica)

Several firearms are seen in a pawnshop that Dwight visits. A Smith & Wesson Model 3 can be seen among them.

Denix M1869 Smith & Wesson, a non-firing replica of Smith & Wesson Model 3.
Seen here are a blank firing EKOL Tuna, a Smith & Wesson Model 3 replica, and a Crossman 3357 Revolver, based on the diameter of the barrel, the shape of the cylinder, and the lanyard loop at the base of the grip.

Crossman 3357 Revolver

A Crossman 3357 Revolver also can be seen in the pawnshop.

Seen here are a blank firing EKOL Tuna, a Smith & Wesson Schofield replica, and Crossman 3357 Revolver, based on the diameter of the barrel, the shape of the cylinder, and the lanyard loop at the base of the grip.

Pistols

Ruger Mk III

One of the weapons that Ben (Devin Ratray) offers to Dwight (Macon Blair) is a Ruger Mk III, which he describes as firing "its own nine millimetre cartridge" and instructs Dwight that it must be loaded with stripper clips.

Ben loads a magazine into the Mk III. Note the distinctive shape of the magazine well.
Ben showing Dwight the Mk III. Note the distinctive cylindrical bolt.

Intratec TEC-9

Kris Cleland (Eve Plumb) draws and fires an Intratec TEC-9 at the end of the film, which is kept duct-taped underneath the seat of a reclining armchair in the Cleland home.

Intratec TEC-9 - 9x19mm

Smith & Wesson 645 (airsoft)

A cheap airsoft version of the Smith & Wesson 645 can be seen in the pawnshop.

Smith & Wesson 645 - .45 ACP. This particular 645 is the screen used pistol carried and fired by Don Johnson in the series Miami Vice.
Seen here is a Smith & Wesson 645, what appears to be a holstered Webley Tempest Air Pistol, and an unknown rifle or shotgun, also possibly an air gun.

Webley Tempest Air Pistol

A holstered Webley Tempest Air Pistol can be seen in the pawnshop.

.177 Tempest Air pistol - distributed by both Beeman (USA) and Webley (UK)
Seen here are a Smith & Wesson 645, what appears to be a holstered Webley Tempest Air Pistol, and an unknown rifle or shotgun, also possibly an air gun.

EKOL Tuna

A EKOL Tuna can be seen in the pawnshop.

EKOL Tuna - 8mm P.A. blanks
Seen here are a blank firing EKOL Tuna, a Smith & Wesson Schofield replica, and some sort of airsoft or paintball revolver, based on the diameter of the barrel, the shape of the cylinder, and the lanyard loop at the base of the grip.

Rifles and Carbines

Ruger Mini-14 GB

The final weapon that Ben (Devin Ratray) initially shows to Dwight (Macon Blair) is a Ruger Mini-14 GB. Dwight then uses the Mini-14 while interrogating Teddy (Kevin Kolack), who also briefly uses it after overpowering Dwight.

Ruger Mini-14 GB ("Government Barrel") - 5.56x45mm
Ben shows Dwight the Mini-14. After properly identifying it, he refers to it as "the A-Team gun" and even properly explains the distinction between the A-Team's standard rifles and his own GB.
Dwight, not a familiar firearms user, holds the Mini-14 somewhat awkwardly.
Dwight aims the Mini-14 at the trunk of his car.
Dwight, holding the Mini-14, reaches down to grab a jug of water for Teddy.
Dwight fires the Mini-14, eyes closed, and misses Teddy from roughly two yards.

Teddy rests the Mini-14 on his knees.
Teddy, about to shoot Dwight, cocks his head at the sound of Ben's Mosin firing. Seconds later he is hit. (In reality, the bullet would have hit him before the sound had travelled far enough for him to hear it).

Rossi Circuit Judge

After Dwight (Macon Blair) proves to be inept with firearms to the degree that he misses from two yards with a Mini-14, Ben (Devin Ratray) supplies him with a Rossi Circuit Judge loaded with buckshot, which he uses for the remainder of the film.

Rossi Circuit Judge - .410 bore / .45 Colt. The one seen in the film is blued.
Dwight fires the Circuit Judge at some bottles, eyes closed, while Ben looks on.

Dwight aims the Circuit Judge at the remaining Clelands.
"I don't know much about guns, but I'm pretty sure I've got more bullets than you."

Mosin-Nagant M91/30

One of the weapons that Ben (Devin Ratray) shows to Dwight (Macon Blair) is a Mosin Nagant M91/30. He is seen firing it later in the film.

Heckler & Koch HK91

After Ben opens his safe with the guns, a Heckler & Koch HK91 can be seen in it.

Springfield Armory M1A

Dwight finds a great many weapons at the Clelands' home, which he confiscates, wraps in a bed sheet, and drops into a nearby lake. The Springfield Armory M1A can be seen among it.

Double Barrelled Shotgun

Several double barrelled shotguns are seen in the film. The first is seen in the hands of Teddy (Kevin Kolack) and later Dwight (Macon Blair) at Dwight's sister Sam's house. At least one more is seen at the Clelands' home, and another is seen used by William at the end of the film.

Several firearms are seen in a pawnshop that Dwight visits. A Non Gun Pump Action Shotgun can be seen among them.

For comparsion: Remington 870 "Non Gun" (full sized wooden stock). One in the film is an even cheaper copy, not even like a real weapon.
Seen here are a Smith & Wesson 4505, what appears to be a holstered Webley Tempest Air Pistol, and a Non Gun shotgun.
