Beverly Hills Cop II (1987)

Beverly Hills Cop II is the 1987 sequel to Beverly Hills Cop. The film finds Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) returning to Beverly Hills to help find out who was responsible for the shooting of a close friend. The film was directed by Tony Scott. Murphy would return as Axel Foley in 1994's Beverly Hills Cop III.

Pistols

Browning Hi-Power

As in the original Beverly Hills Cop, Detroit Police Department Det. Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) carries a 1970's era Browning Hi-Power pistol as his sidearm.

Heckler & Koch P7M13

A Heckler & Koch P7M13 is used by female assassin Karla Fry (Brigitte Nielsen) during the jewelry robbery and then in the Bogomil shooting.

AMC .44 AutoMag

An AMC .44 AutoMag is used by one of the robbery crew during the Adriano's jewelry heist at the beginning of the film. One of the plot points is that .44 Automag rounds are too expensive to make, so a .308 cartridge is cut down to fit the Automag. The Automag is also used by one of Charles Kane's men to take out Axel at the 385 North Club.

AMC Auto Mag 180 - .44 AMP.

An AMC .44 AutoMag is used by one of the robbery crew during the Adriano's jewelry heist at the beginning of the film. Shell-casings from the weapon are recovered, leading to a plot point regarding how the .44 Automag rounds are too expensive to make, so a .308 cartridge is cut down to fit the Automag.

The AutoMag is used in the attempted drive-by on Axel.

Desert Eagle Mark I

The Desert Eagle Mark I is carried by several of the henchmen employed by Maxwell Dent (Jürgen Prochnow). A Desert Eagle is pointed at Axel before the final shootout and then is held by Karla Fry (Brigitte Nielsen) as she is about to shoot Axel.

Beretta 92F

A blank-firing Beretta 92F fitted with a laser sight is seen being used by Axel and Karla at the Beverly Hills Gun Club. Axel is unimpressed with the blank firing weapon and decides to open fire on the screens with his Browning Hi-Power.

Capt. Bogomil (Ronny Cox) appears to carry a Smith & Wesson 669 in his shoulder holster.

Smith & Wesson Model 29

After the shootout at the club, Det. Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) decides to switch his sidearm to a Smith & Wesson Model 29 with an 8 3/8 inch barrel as a sidearm later in the film.

When Rosewood and Taggart (John Ashton) visit Axel at his Beverly Hills "home", Billy is seen drawing his Model 19 Snub, while Taggart draws his Smith & Wesson Model 27.

Remington Model 870

The Remington 870 shotgun with a pistol grip is a weapon used by Charles Kane (Dean Stockwell) as part of the robbery crew at the racetrack. This appears to be a continuity error as he was holding a Mossberg earlier.

Charles Kane (Dean Stockwell) uses a Mossberg 500 Cruiser during the race track heist. In some scenes, the shotgun appears to be a Remington 870. Detective Billy Rosewood decides to use two Mossberg 500 Cruisers for the final shootout.

Several of Thomopolis' men open fire on Axel and the guys with M16 rifles.

Ruger Mini-14

At the Beverly Hills Gun Club, a shooter is seen using what appears to be a Ruger Mini-14 that's been fitted with a laser sight underneath the barrel. Karla is later seen firing the rifle. The rifle is mounted with a Laser Products Corporation (later Surefire) laser sight similar to ones used in The Terminator and Wanted: Dead Or Alive. This laser sight is easily distinguished by the proprietary LPC "clamp" as well as the actual sight's "bell-shaped" end.

Ruger Mini-14 - 5.56x45mm

LPC laser sight (stainless) mounted on a Ruger Mini-14 like the one in the film. This Mini-14 version used a special "sleeve" that slid over the barrel to which the sight was clamped.

A gun club member is seen with the Ruger.

Some of Thomopolis' men use Heckler & Koch HK94A3s during the final shootout. It has been modified with a ventilated barrel shroud and a vertical foregrip. It looks similar to the version used by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the film Raw Deal.

One of the hitmen during the club shootout is seen firing a Heckler & Koch HK94A3 out the backwindow of a car. This HK94A3 has the barrel chopped and converted to look like an MP5A3.

Karla (Brigitte Nielsen) uses what appears to be a Intratec TEC-9 Mini fitted with a barrel shroud and foregrip during the final shootout.

Before the final shootout, Billy takes an M72 LAW from a weapons crate. He then uses the M72 LAW to take out a truck.
