Beretta 96FS - .40 S&W

The Beretta 96 pistol series are similar to the 92 series in appearance, however they are chambered for the more powerful .40 S&W round. Most 92 models, such as the Vertec, Brigadier, or Elite are available in .40 S&W as well.

As of 2012, only the 96A1 (92A1 in .40 S&W) is offered from the 96 line.
