Ben Affleck is an American actor/director who received an Academy Award for Best Screenplay for co-writing the film Good Will Hunting with fellow co-star Matt Damon. He has since gone on to star in such films as Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, and Paycheck as well as taking on the role of Jack Ryan in 2002's The Sum of All Fears and of Bruce Wayne/Batman starting with 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In addition, he has directed several acclaimed films including Gone Baby Gone, The Town, and Argo (which received the Academy Award for Best Picture). He also is the brother of actor Casey Affleck.
