Bastille Day, also titled The Take, is a 2016 movie directed by James Watkins. Young American pickpocket Michael Mason lives in Paris and steals from activist Zoe there. Thinking the contents of her bag are worthless, he unsuspectingly deposits it in a square - where it explodes and kills several people. Michael now finds himself targeted by the secret service.
