The Barrett REC7 has been used in the following films:
Specifications
Type: Assault Rifle
Caliber: 6.8x43mm Remington SPC
Capacity: 5,10,20,28,30 round Box Magazines
Fire Modes: Safe/Semi/Full-Auto (Cyclic rate of 750 RPM)
Info
Formerly known as the Barrett M468 this is another in a series of evolutions of the M16 rifle series/M-4 Carbine but with several major differences. The first, and most obvious, being the use of the 6.8x43mm Remington SPC round (which is supposed to have 50% more stopping power than the standard 5.56mm round), a short stroke piston system as opposed to the M-16's direct impingement gas system and a quad rail system in addition to a flat top receiver. The weapon is manufactured as either a complete system or upper receiver only which can be married to a pre-existing M-16/M-4 lower receiver.
