Assault on Precinct 13 (2005)

Assault on Precinct 13 is the 2005 remake of the 1976 John Carpenter thriller. The remake was directed by Jean-François Richet and changes the setting from Los Angeles to Detroit.


The following weapons were used in the film Assault on Precinct 13 (2005):



Rifles

SIG SG 552

One of the weapons in which Marcus Duvall's men use are heavily customized SIG SG 552. These 552s have Aimpoint M68 red dot sights, suppressors, red lasers, flashlights, and forward rail grips. Sgt. Jake Roenick (Ethan Hawke), Marion Bishop (Laurence Fishburne), and Beck (John Leguizamo) all are seen using this rifle. Charles Taylor, the film's armorer, mentioned in a BTS featurette that some of the weapons were electrical replicas to be used when fired at the principle actors.

Para-Ordnance P-13 Limited

Sgt. Jake Roenick (Ethan Hawke) carries a stainless Para-Ordnance P-13, a high capacity .45 semi-auto as his sidearm in the film.

Beretta 92FS

The Beretta 92FS is used by several characters in the film including Roenick, Sgt. Jasper O'Shea (Brian Dennehy), Iris Ferry (Drea de Matteo) Capt. Marcus Duvall (Gabriel Byrne) and Dr. Alex Sabian (Maria Bello). It's also used by the corrections officers as well as Bishop (Laurence Fishburne).

Beretta 92FS Inox handguns are used by the two Serbian gangsters in the beginning of the film. One of Bishop's men also uses one at the church.

Sniper Rifle

Accuracy International AWP

Another weapon in which Marcus Duvall's men use is the Accuracy International AWP sniper rifle. One of the snipers seen is film armorer Al Vrkljan, who often appears in cameos in such films as The Incredible Hulk and The Sentinel.

Submachine Guns

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

In addition to the SIG rifles, some of Duvall's men are armed with Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine guns fitted with suppressors, laser sights, and Surefire weaponlights.

M1928 Thompson

At the beginning of the film, Sgt. Jasper (Brian Dennehy) can be seen examining and joking about an M1928 Thompson found in the evidence room. Anna (Aisha Hinds) also takes this weapon for her own use later in the movie.

Remington 870

Officer Rosen (Kim Coates) and Officer Gil (Dorian Harewood), the guards on the prison bus, are seen carrying Remington 870 shotguns in addition to their Berettas. Roenick also carries a Remington 870 in some scenes.
