M1911A1

Several M1911A1s appear used by both Coppers and Criminals. DS/DI Ray Carling is seen using one in Series 3 Episode 5. One appears in Series 1 Episode 5 sold by Simon Neary. A nickel plated version is seen used by a Dutch diamond smuggler in Series 3 Episode 8 who uses it to shoot up Gene's Quattro.

FN FAL

An FN FAL is seen in Series 2 Episode 1, used by a young PC, Kevin Hales, who killed his friend.

Sawed-off Shotgun

Several sawed-off shotguns appear in the show. Chas Cale uses one in Series 1 Episode 6 in a post office robbery. Another one is used in a bullion robbery in Series 2 Episode 8 used by both the robbers and the cops. One is seen used by an undercover Special Branch agent in Series 3 Episode 4. In Series 3 Episode 8, DS/DI Ray Carling confiscates one from an incarcerated criminal, later using it in the final shootout. Somehow he is able to dumb around 5 shots out of it without reloading!

Heckler and Koch MP5 A3

Heckler and Koch MP5 A3s are seen used by SAS troopers in Series 3 Episode 6 during the raid on the prison. This is notably historically accurate, as the SAS adopted the weapon in the Late 1970s and were used notably in the real SAS mission "Operation Nimrod" or the May 5th 1980 raid on the Iranian embassy.
