A semiautomatic .22 LR detachable rifle originally made for the USAF. The reciever assembly and barrel can be contained in the buttstock and will float on water,though not waterproof. The reciever and magazine is made of aluminum. It has had various manufacturers since the 60's. It is still in production.

Wasn't it used by Sean Connery as James Bond in "From Russia with Love"? Yes it was part of the special briefcase issued to Bond by Q. Along with the gold sovereigns and throwing knives!!!!

I believe a woman uses it to sniper in "James Bond: Goldfinger", but she misses and almost hits JB
