The following guns were used in the movie American Gangster
Browning Hi-Power
- Definately not a 1911, the grips is too wide. This movie takes place in the 70s (if I remember correctly) and unless he has a Para-Ordinance (which would only be around since the 90s), it is definately the double stack Hi-Power.
Beretta 950 Jetfire
The Beretta Jetfire is chambered in .25 ACP, and was first manufactured in 1953 as a carry or holdout pistol.
Ingram MAC-10
A drive-by shooting on the streets of Harlem with a MAC-10 9mm.
Smith & Wesson 586

Frank Lucas (Denzel Washington) drops a revolver of unknown make and model, most likley a Smith and Wesson Model 586 .357 Magnum revolver with a four inch barrel, or possibly a Colt Python of the same caliber and barrel length.
