Allied is a 2016 WWII romantic thriller directed by Robert Zemeckis. Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard star as Allied spies who fall in love during a mission and then it is discovered that one of them may be a double agent.

Both Max (Brad Pitt) and Marianne (Marion Cotillard) use Sten Mk II submachine guns feeding from magazines taped together "jungle-style" during their mission in Casablanca. Sten guns with single magazines are also used by Max and several French Resistance fighters in Dieppe.
