Act of Aggression (2015)

Act of Aggression is a real time strategy game produced by Eugen and published by Focus Interactive. The game follows the United Nations-backed Chimera task force as they ally with the USA and fight a mysterious enemy called the Cartel.

The following weapons were used in the videogame Act of Aggression:

Submachine Guns

TDI Vector

An oversized TDI Vector is depicted as the weapon of choice for Contractors, the basic infantry unit of the Cartel faction.

Jian She Type-05

Vanguards, elite mercenaries available to the Cartel faction, use Jian She Type-05s (A 9mm conversion of the QCW-05) as their primary weapons. The gun is modelled with the carrying handle removed and fitted with a suppressor.

MP5A4s with dedicated forend weaponlights are seen in the hands of US Army Delta operatives and "Men in Black" (Bodyguards that appear in some campaign missions.)

US Marines and generic Militia encutered throughout the campaign carry M16A4s without any attachments. The weapon is incorrectly depicted as fully automatic.

Several vehicles (most notably the default US Army Humvee) are armed with Browning M2HB machineguns.

GAU-19

One of the upgrade kits available for the Humvee replaces its original M2HB with a GAU 19 minigun, increasing its damage against infantry and helicopters. Twin GAU-19s are also seen mounted on the Sentry Turret, Chimera's static defense structure.

M72 LAW

An M72 LAW, referred to as the "Viper" (Presumably named after the ill-fated FRG-17 Viper programme back in 1980's), is the standard AT weapon for the Cartel. Upgraded US Delta operatives use the same launcher, under the designation "M72E9".

SA-18 Grouse

The SA-18 Grouse, under its original name of "9K38 Igla" ("needle") is the primary weapon of the Cartel's AA infantry unit, the "Grinch". The BMPT Terminator can be equipped with the launcher to increase its AA potential.
