Aces: Iron Eagle III (1992)

Aces: Iron Eagle III is the third installment in the Iron Eagle film series. Helmed by veteran Bond director John Glen, the 1992 sequel follows retired USAF Colonel Charles "Chappy" Sinclair (Louis Gossett Jr.), who now is part of an air show that features vintage World War II planes. He then finds himself joining forces with three fellow World War II pilots and a young Peruvian villager in order to take down a former Nazi war criminal who is heading a drug cartel in Peru.

The P38 Lightning flown by Chappy is armed with quad Browning M2 Aircraft machine guns. Some of the other World War II vintage planes, the RAF Submarine Spitfire flown by Palmer (Christopher Cazenove) and the Messerschmitt BF-109 flown by Liechmann (Horst Buchholz) are armed with what appear to be Browning M2 guns (in reality, the BF-109 was a modified P51 Mustang). The machine gun is also mounted in enemy gun positions.

Messerschmit 263 Cannon (M134)

Gustav Kleiss (Paul Freeman) flies a prototype Messerschmit 263 (in reality the aircraft was a Scaled Composites ARES) that is armed with six-barreled rotary cannon. When seen fired in closeup, the weapon resembles an M134 minigun.
