A Cruel Romance (original title Zhestokiy romans) is a Soviet 1984 made for TV drama movie by Eldar Ryazanov. It is based on a classic Russian play Without a Dowry (1878).

This revolver appears to be the same weapon that appears in several other Mosfilm productions, like Shvedskaya spichka, Semeynoe schastye, and Zemlya Sannikova.
