Pistols

Fictional Pistol

Accelerator's Pistol

Accelerator aims his sidearm at Heaven Canceller during a confrontation in "The Dark Side of Academy City".

A full shot of Accelerator's pistol in "Teitoku Kakine (Dark Matter)". It appears that the visuals are similarly based on the SIG-Sauer P250.

The pistol aimed at his temple, taking advantage of his vectors.

Girl in the Dress's Pistol

The Girl in the Dress takes out her sidearm after being blocked by a shutter.

Shiage Hamazura's Pistol

Shiage pops the pistol, supported by a wrist brace, hidden under his arm during a fight with Shizuri Mugino in "Super-espers".

Shiage shows Mugino another surprise with a pistol at her face at close range. From this shot, it resembles the Glock 26 except that the trigger guard is round.

Glock 17

The Glock 17 is seen in "Chaos" with Motoharu Tsukimikado, which he uses to shoot at Monaka Oyafune. One is seen with the corpse of a pro-BLOCK mercenary in "Teitoku Kakine (Dark Matter)".

Tsukimikado takes out the Glock 17 in "Chaos".

What appears to be a Heckler & Koch VP70 next to a pro-BLOCK mercenary's corpse in "Teitoku Kakine (Dark Matter)".

The VP70 discarded on the side when GROUP discovers the corpses in the Reformatory in "Teitoku Kakine (Dark Matter)".

IMI Uzi Pistol

An IMI Uzi pistol is seen in "The Dark Side of Academy City" with a black marketer.

M1911A1

The M1911A1 is seen with some characters in the season.

Smart Gun

The Smart Gun is briefly seen in "Chaos" in a flashback sequence when Touma explains what happened in the previous two seasons of Index.

Touma narrates what happened in the 2nd season as Ritoku Komaba draws a smart gun at Accelerator.

Walther PPK

A Walther PPK is oddly seen with a pro-BLOCK mercenary's corpse in "Teitoku Kakine (Dark Matter)".

Submachine Guns

IMI Uzi

The IMI Uzi is seen with a SCHOOL agent attacking an ITEM-owned Private Saloon in "Super-espers".

The Uzi being fired at Saiai Kinuhata at the start of "Super-espers".

Note that in this shot, it seems that the Uzi is animated a lot bigger than his hands.

Assault Rifles

AK-47

What seems to be an AK-47 is seen in "Teitoku Kakine (Dark Matter)" with some BLOCK mercenaries.

Bullpup Assault Rifle

The bullpup assault rifle is used by BLOCK mercenaries in "The Dark Side of Academy City".

The BLOCK commando breaches into an apartment in "The Dark Side of Academy City".

In this shot, you can see the transparent 30-round magazine loaded.

SIG SG 552

The SIG SG 552 returns as the main assault rifle of Anti-Skill officers.

Machine Guns

Browning M2HB

What appears to be a Type 10 MBT is on display at a Academy City weapons trade show in "Chaos".

The Type 10 MBT on display in "Chaos". The M2HB would be mounted on top, although the shape of the muzzle makes it appear to be a Barrett-type rifle.

GIAT M621

The GIAT M621 is seen mounted on a HsAFH-11 static display on display at a Academy City weapons trade show in "Chaos". They're used by actual HsAFH-11 gunships in "The Dark Side of Academy City".

GIAT THL 20 - 20x102mm

The armed drone on display in "Chaos".

Sniper Rifles

MSR-001

A high-tech custom sniper rifle known as the MSR-001 is used in "The Dark Side of Academy City" by SCHOOL-recruited mercenary Chimitsu Sunazara in an attempt to assassinate a VIP.

Several HsPs-15 powered suits are seen with a Milkor MGL-based automatic grenade launcher.

Rocket Launchers

Panzerfaust 3

The Panzerfaust 3 is seen in "Teitoku Kakine (Dark Matter)" with pro-BLOCK mercenaries while conducting a siege on Academy City.

Oddly animated weapons

Unlike the first two seasons, some of the animation done for small arms has suffered from quality despite having JC Staff as the animators in charge.
