The AG-40 (Romanian: Aruncător de Grenade 40 mm, lit. "40mm Grenade Launcher") is a Romanian under-barrel grenade launcher designed to mount under the PA md. 86, but is also compatible with the earlier PM md. 63 rifles. The standard AG-40P is chambered for the 40x47mm grenades used in the Polish Pallad grenade launcher, but there is also an export version called the AG-40PN which is chambered for the standard "western" 40x46mm round.
