(Starship Troopers) - Morita Rifle Series

The Morita rifle series is a series of fictional weapons created for the movie Starship Troopers, with obvious influence from the M41A Pulse Rifle.

Morita Mk I Rifle

The Morita rifle is used by Rico and all the other Mobile Infantry soldiers with the Morita Carbine being carried by fleet pilots and officers. The weapons themselves are built around Ruger Mini-14/AC-556 rifles with an underslung Ithaca 37 shotgun. Both the Morita rifle and carbine utilize a modified Muzzelite MZ-14 bullpup stock to house the Ruger Mini-14/AC-556 rifles and the Ithaca 37 shotguns (for the Morita rifle only).

Morita Mk I Carbine

A shorter barreled version of the Morita Rifle was issued to Federation Pilots and Senior NCOs of the Mobile Infantry.

Morita Scoped Sniper Rifle

Basically a Morita Rifle with a large multi-task Scope. The Morita Scoped Rifle is used by Pvt. Watkins on Planet P. It is the same basic weapon with the addition of an advanced scope capable of tracking and zooming in on a target.
