Heckler & Koch Mark 23 Phase II Prototype
The Raiden Outfit is inspired by the Metal Gear Solid 4 Raiden model, which has a holstered Heckler & Koch Mark 23 pistol. As before, this pistol is never drawn, not even when Ezio use the hidden gun. Since the outfit is unlocked by completing VR Training Session, it can be used as early as reaching Rome, in 1500; making the gun anachronistic by circa 491 years.

Ezio sports a futuristic appeareance in Rinascimental Rome wonders where he can find .45 ACP ammo, four centuries before the cartridge was even invented.
Ezio aims a non-existent wrist gun, while keeping the Mk.23 in the holster. After all, he can find ammo for the wrist gun at least.
