You're lucky I saw that episode of CSI: NY. The gun is called a TDI Vector or the "Kriss Super V", and it can't actually shoot two rounds in one wound. It has a unique recoil system that pushes downwards as it cycles, which helps to greatly reduce muzzle climb, but not so much that two rounds would hit the same hole.
