The following firearms were used in the film Billy Bathgate:
M1911A1
Several of Schultz's men, including "Lulu" Rosencrantz (John Costelloe) and Mickey (Billy Jaye) carry M1911A1s. Dutch Schultz (Dustin Hoffman) uses one when he shoots Julie Martin (Mike Starr) in the head (but this later changes to a M1903 Hammerless). Several of Luciano's men, including Charles Workman, have them during the final shootout as well.
Colt Police Positive
Billy Bathgate (Loren Dean) buys an old Colt Police Positive with its serial number scratched off from his friend Arnold (Kevin Corrigan).
Colt Model 1903 Hammerless
Irving (Steve Buscemi), Schultz's best shooter, keeps a Colt Model 1903 Hammerless as his personal sidearm. Dutch also is seen holding one after killing Julie Martin.
Colt Official Police
One of the hitmen, Emanuel "Mendy" Weiss, during the Palace Chophouse shootout has a Colt Official Police.
