The Bridge (aka Bron in Sweden and Broen in Denmark) is a television mystery crime series that centers around Saga Noren (Sofia Helin), a emotionally detached detective from Sweden and her Danish counterpart Martin Rohde (Kim Bodnia). The duo find themselves working together when the body of a politician is found bisected on the border between Sweden and Denmark on the Oresund Bridge. Their investigation uncovers a ruthless serial killer hell-bent on revenge and serving his own twisted sense of justice. The series, which premiered in 2011 and was a Swedish/Denmark co-production, was adapted as the US/Mexico-produced series The Bridge (2013), and the UK/French-produced series The Tunnel.
The following weapons can be seen in the TV series The Bridge (Bron):
SIG-Sauer P220
Saga Norén (Sofia Helin), her chief Hans Petterson (Dag Malmberg) and other Swedish policemen carry SIG-Sauer P220 pistols.
Heckler & Koch USP Compact
Martin Rohde (Kim Bodnia) and Pernille (Vickie Bak Laursen) use Heckler & Koch USP Compacts as their sidearms.
Glock 17
Jens Hansen (Lars Simonsen) as Sebastian Sandstrod used a suppressed Glock 17 pistol.
Reck Mod. PPK
Saga Norén (Sofia Helin) uses what appears to be a Walther PPK. Upon closer inspection, the pistol is actually the blank-firing Reck PPK replica manufactured by the German company Umarex.
Colt M1911A1
Jesper Andersson (Henning Valin Jakobsen) is armed with a Colt M1911A1 pistol.
Taurus Model 85 (Nickel)
Alexander Julin (Morten Lützhøft) hides a nickel Taurus Model 85. His wife Caroline Brandstrup-Julin (Lotte Munk) finds this revolver.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Double Barreled Shotgun
Viktoria Nordgren (Tova Magnusson-Norling) and Gertrud Kofoed (Camilla Bendix) are seen with double barreled shotguns at the hunting.
