The following guns were used in the film:

The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997)

LAR Grizzly Big-Bore

Roland Tembo (Pete Postletwiate) is seen in the film using an LAR Grizzly Big-Bore, made out to be a single shot tranquilizer gun. Sarah Harding (Julianne Moore) is later seen using the same tranquilizer rifle to shoot the T-rex while in San Francisco. Some of the hunters are also seen using LAR Grizzlies, outfitted with dual pully drums and made to look like grapple firing guns.

Lindstradt Tranquilizer

Eddy Carr (Richard Schiff) is seen using a bolt action tranquilizer rifle with the name "Lindstradt" clearly shown on the side and a thread-on barrel. It is most likely a mock up of a real rifle but the make is hard to tell. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) is also seen holding this gun in some scenes.

Eddy attempts to pull up the tranq. gun to use on some T-rexes, but the front blade sight gets stuck in the camouflauge netting, resulting in his demise.

Tranquilizer Rifle

Some of the hunters are seen using little tranquilizer rifles which appear to be C02 powered air guns.

Dieter Stark Peter Stormare carries a H&K HK91 with an entrylight and telescopic sight attached but is never actually used. Some of the other hunters are also seen using HK rifles and a police sniper is seen hanging out a chopper door with one.

Elephant Gun

Carried by Roland Tembo

Two examples were made for the production of this movie by Searcy in the U.S. They are chambered in .600 Nitro Express. Steven Spielberg is said to own one of them himself. The location of the other is unknown, but no dought in the hands of a collector or hunter. These two examples are "real" and meant to be used, and, as with most high-grade double rifles, their value is in the area of many thousands (over $55,000, given their provenance) of dollars each.
