When the biker chick begins chasing the jeep on her bike threatening the kids with a sawed off shotgun. Eric ([[Matthew Bomer]]) opens his glove compartment and draws this U.S. Army issue [[M1911]]. He aims it but they then get in a car accident. The gun then ends up in the hands of Monty ([[Terrence Evans]]) who pockets it to keep for himself from the wreckage before Chrissie can get a hold of it.

U.S. Army Model 1911

When the biker chick begins chasing the jeep on her bike threatening the kids with a sawed off shotgun. Eric (Matthew Bomer) opens his glove compartment and draws this U.S. Army issue M1911. He aims it but they then get in a car accident. The gun then ends up in the hands of Monty (Terrence Evans) who pockets it to keep for himself from the wreckage before Chrissie can get a hold of it.

Sheriff Hoyt (R. Lee Ermey) takes this shotgun off the original sheriff's, Sheriff Winston's dashboard and uses it to kill him with a shot to the head when hes trying to apprehend Thomas/ Leatherface. Hoyt then replaces him as the new Sheriff and uses it throughout the movie. He uses it to kill a biker chick and then uses it to threaten the stranded kids through the rest of the film.
