The following guns were shown in the anime franchise Neon Genesis Evangelion, including the original 26 episode series, the finale movie End of Evangelion and the remake Rebuild of Evangelion tetralogy of films.

Steyr MPi 69

Nerv's security guards use the Steyr MPi 69 as their standard main weapon. As Aoba states, Nerv HQ's entire defense plan was designed around fighting giant "Angel" monsters, not invading armies. They have trouble even dealing with terrorist threats. When the JSSDF invades at battalion-strength with commandos armed with RPG's, Flamethrowers, and HK G11's (not to mention supporting artillery battalions and attack helicopters), these Steyr MPi 69's are the best that Nerv personnel can respond with.

Normally only Nerv security guards are armed with Steyr MPi 69's, while normal technicians and computer operators are only armed with Glock 17's. However, command center computer operator Lt. Aoba either manages to get his hands on one or keeps one stored in his desk. When the JSSDF penetrates the command center room itself, most of the technicians there can only return fire with Glock 17's. Having no combat experience, Lt. Maya Ibuki is to afraid to even fire a Glock 17 Aoba hands her and cowers in fear under her desk. Aoba, however, fitting the nihilistic attitude he displays throughout the series, whips out a Steyr MPi 69 and starts casually blowing away advancing JSSDF troops, utterly remorseless at the act of killing another human being.

Glock 17

The standard issue sidearm for all Nerv personnel is the Glock 17. Even Nerv's sidearms are inferior to the JSSDF counterpart, the Browning Hi-Power. Hyuga loads a Glock 17 from his desk when the JSSDF starts to invade Nerv HQ, but like most Nerv personnel, he has no weapons experience beyond basic training, so he nervously checks it by saying "safety off" aloud to himself.

Heckler & Koch G11

The advanced HK G11 is the standard weapon of the elite JSSDF commandos who invade Nerv HQ in End of Evangelion.

Heckler & Kock USP

Misato carries and uses a H&K USP. She is also noted for using one throughout the television series too.

R-92 revolver

The odd-looking revolver that Ritsuko pulls on Gendo during their final confrontation in End of Evangelion is the R-92, a 9mm revolver produced by the KBP Instrument Design Bureau at Tula. They were developed to produce a conceal-carry, instant readiness revolver for Russia's internal security forces.[1] Ritsuko conceals her R-92 in her lab coat during her confrontation with Gendo, though there is no indication that she normally carries the gun with her.

Walther PPK

Gendo Ikari pulls his own gun on Ritsuko during their final confrontation, when she lets her guard down due to the base's self-destruct not activating as planned. It's somewhat difficult to tell because of the angle, but it appears to be a Walther PPK. Again, there's no indication that Gendo normally carries a gun with himself, and he may have just been carrying it because Nerv HQ was being invaded by the JSSDF. Gendo says to Ritsuko "Ritsuko Akagi, the truth is..." but then his line is muted out (originally a background explosion was going to be in, so the audience can't hear what he's saying but Ritsuko can, but then the creators thought it would be more "artsy" just to mute the line without an explosion). We never find out what Gendo's infamous final line is, but it was something that "made Ritsuko feel so defeated that she doesn't even try to dodge Gendo's bullet" and welcomes death. Ritsuko responds "Liar", then Gendo shoots her once with his Walther PPK (insert James Bond joke: "I only need one shot"), the force of which knocks Ritsuko completely off of her feet and flying backwards into the pool of LCL behind her.
