:Well, I actually think it's an A1 because of its hand guard shape. The A2 handguards have a straight shape (length wise) while the A1 shape is almost like a triangle in how the bottom part of it is diagonal while the top is straight. Also, it definitely has an A1 reciever. Here's the screenshot:

If you look at the screencaps of the M16, you will see that it definitely has A1 handguards, which means it is an M16A1.
