The "Obran" is a series of fictional weapons seen in the America's Army 3 video game used by the OPFOR (Opposing Forces).
Obran rifles are not actual real world firearms, but they very well could be. The rifle platform is based on the real world Israeli-made Galil rifle that have been upgraded with forearm rails, a lower receiver that takes STANAG magazines, and telescoping Magpul Buttstocks. The weapons are intended to be an upgrade from the traditional AK-47 based weapons from previous game versions and meant to reflect newer, more modern designs and accessories of the 21st century battlefield.
The Obran NP & KNP versions having Magpul CTR stocks with cheek risers, while the Obran LMK features a heavier Magpul PRS stock. The Designated Marksman variant, the Obran MSP, also features an M150 ACOG scope and is limited to semi-auto fire only.
They replace the Kalashnikov-based Warsaw Pact weapons used in the previous America's Army game and include the following variants.

- Caliber: 5.56x45mm
