A Hard Day is a 2014 Korean thriller film starring Lee Sun-kyun as police detective Ko Gun-soo, who accidentally runs over a homeless man with his car on the way to his mother's funeral. The film covers his attempts to hide his actions as he finds himself being blackmailed by a mysterious individual who claims to have witnessed the event. A Hard Day received critical acclaim upon its release and inspired multiple international adaptations.
